Program highlights

Lectures

Lectures by renowned professors of economics will cover relevant topics and engage participants in discussions.

Case study:

All participants will work in groups to apply economic concepts to the challenges of Uzbekistan and Central Asia and prepare a presentation with guidance from the team at New Uzbekistan University.

Participants will have the opportunity to receive guidance from local government and business professionals, as well as learn about international graduate study opportunities in economics.

Participation fee

-   1,500,000 UZS - the fee includes a 12-day hotel/dormitory stay, lunch, and coffee breaks during the program.

-   Discounts: Candidates residing in Tashkent who do not require hotel accommodation will be eligible for a fee of 500,000 UZS

Who Should Apply?

The Summer School is a competitive and rigorous program. We are looking for talented students with proven achievements in the field of Economics. Our participants should be :

Individuals passionate about economics and keen to expand their knowledge and professional network

Excellent level of English

  • English language certificate is preferred (IELTS, TOEFL etc)
  • Students from universities with English language of instruction don’t need to provide certificates

Top students from universities in Uzbekistan with high academic achievements and scientific articles

  • Individuals with strong academic background.

Motivational Letter

  • Letter explaining why you want to join summer school (250 words max)

2. Upload all documents in the form (language certificates, publication links) - if applicable

3. Upload a short Motivational letter - required

4. Finish everything by June 20th 2024
